A project that uses closed and unattainable spaces as triggers for fantasy. As visitors walk around the tent, they gradually realize they cannot enter, sparking an imagination of what might lie inside. It serves as a metaphor for believing that the unseen place—just out of reach—might be better than where we stand now. It becomes a tool to project ourselves into another dimension.
This installation questions why I feel the need to deceive myself into longing for somewhere else, rather than accepting where I am. Why do I feel compelled to imagine alternatives—and measure them against my reality? Is it a matter of self acceptance ?
